PEERS - EDUCATIONAL LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM
PEERS - Phab’s Equal Experience, Resource Support program is an Educational Life Skills Program informed by the Enabling Good Lives principles. PEERs is co-designed by members and staff with a holistic approach hauora (well-being). The program development considers all members strengths and goals.
The program runs during the school term.
Takapuna - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Hibiscus Coast - Monday.
The program includes meaningful, productive, tangible and engaging activities such as:
Stretching and movement sessions
Creative art projects
Assisting in PHAB fundraising
Music workshops
Café projects
Budgeting workshops and supermarket visits
Events and community outings
Current event studies
Cultural experiences
Garden to table: Gardening skills and cooking classes
Transport to and from PHAB is your own responsibility
Members supply their own morning tea, lunch, snacks and drink.
PROGRAM FEE Options:
$92 ($80.00 + GST per day)
or a Carer Support Day per day
The program is often full due to its popularity but we always welcome new enquiries for future participants.
*This cost covers staff and administration only, outings may incur an extra cost.
